Buyforthebirds is a family owned business started when we began looking for bird houses and feeders to replace ones that were purchased from various department stores that just didn't last long in the New Hampshire winters.  Quality wooden houses weren't as easy to find as we first thought and making our own seemed the better choice.  We built them first for ourselves and friends.  As retired people we thought it would be a good venture for us to offer them to other bird enthusiasts around the country.  We enjoy making them and hope you will enjoy them too.
